Before you order
Are Purist peptides third-party tested?
Yes. Every batch is assayed by HPLC at Bioindustrial Services in Boksburg, an independent biotechnology laboratory. We do not self-certify purity. Signed certificates — lab number, method and assayed result — are published on the Quality Standards page.
What purity do the compounds test at?
A minimum of 99% assayed purity before release. Published results on recent batches run between 98.81% and 100.16%. Any batch below the threshold is not released for sale.
Are these products for human use?
No. Every compound is supplied strictly for laboratory research use by qualified researchers. They are not for human or veterinary consumption and are not medicines.
Why are peptides supplied as a powder?
Lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptides are far more stable than solutions. The powder tolerates ambient transit temperatures; once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water it must be refrigerated at 2–8 °C and not frozen.
Do you ship across South Africa?
Yes — nationwide, dispatched from Johannesburg by tracked courier. 1–2 business days to the major metros, 2–3 days regionally. See Delivery Process. European orders are fulfilled from our Netherlands operation.
What do I need besides the peptide?
Reconstitution requires bacteriostatic water and standard laboratory measuring equipment. Each product page gives the reconstitution volume and the resulting concentration in mg/ml.
