What is DSIP studied for?
DSIP is researched for sleep architecture — depth of delta-wave sleep and REM stability — alongside cortisol modulation, stress-response signalling and circadian rhythm regulation. It is studied for sleep quality rather than sleep duration.
Is DSIP a sedative?
It is not characterised that way in research. Sedatives induce unconsciousness; DSIP is studied for its influence on the structure of sleep and on neuroendocrine signalling, which is a different endpoint.
When is DSIP administered in protocols?
