Which anti-aging peptide should be studied first?
NAD+ and MOTS-C form the standard entry pairing because they address cellular energy and mitochondrial signalling — the foundational pathways. GHK-Cu is added when structural or skin ageing is also an endpoint.
What is the difference between NAD+ and MOTS-C?
NAD+ is a coenzyme required for energy metabolism and DNA repair, and its availability declines with age. MOTS-C is a mitochondrial-derived peptide that signals through AMPK to influence how cells regulate energy. One supplies a substrate; the other modulates the pathway.
Do these compounds stop ageing?
No such claim is made. They are studied for specific biological pathways associated with ageing — energy, mitochondrial function, oxidative damage, tissue structure and hormonal signalling. Ageing research is multifactorial and no compound addresses it wholesale.
How long do longevity protocols run?
